Starclaire Park Club is located @ 7700 Woodstream Drive in Charlotte NC, in the Starmount Neighborhood. Founded in 1961, Starclaire promotes fun for all ages in our community and neighboring communities.
Our Swim Season begins on Memorial Day Weekend and ends on Labor Day Weekend. There are lots of family oriented activities throughout our season. Come join us for Youth Parties, Adult Parties, Tailgating Parties (you don't have to be a Panthers fan, but it helps) throughout the year.

******NEW SEASON RATES******
Immediately following the Annual General Membership Meeting and voting in the new Board of Directors for Starclaire Park Club, the new Board voted on the rates for this coming season.
You will be pleased to learn that the Membership Dues and Rates will not change this year. The Membership Dues and Rates, Payment Plans and late fees for the 2009 season will remain exactly the same except for one minor difference.
All processing fees will be waived through Memorial Day for all levels of memberships.

DUE TO CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS
What should swimmers do when lightning or thunderstorms occur? It is recommended that both indoor and outdoor pools evacuate. Swimmers should follow their facility's policy for exiting the water before an impending storm. Lifeguards and facility employees should direct the evacuation. It is recommended that swimming pools be cleared at the first sound of thunder or first sight of lightning and 30 minutes should lapse after the lightning and thunder stop before swimmers get back into the water.
Will the pool close early? It may be necessary to close the pool due to inclement weather. We will make every reasonable effort to inform the general membership when this occurs. We are in the process of implementing a plan to inform our members as soon as we make the decision to close due to weather conditions.
How do I find out if the pool is closed without having to actually go? If weather conditions are questionable for safe pool operation, please call 704-552-1836. We will make every effort to have a message, if no one is there, describing the current status of operation. The web-site will remain a secondary form of communication of this "plan" and may not depict actual status of pool closing.
Also, the swim team makes every effort to work around pool operating hours, there may be times when it is necessary to hold practice or even a swim meet during these hours. We will make every attempt to let our members know when this occurs as well.
